Driver Missing in Action after Crash

An accident involving a motor vehicle and a tree on Union Avenue in Saratoga Springs has left investigators looking for the driver of the vehicle, who fled the scene following the accident. The vehicle that plowed into the tree was a dark green Eagle Talon. Witnesses say that the vehicle abruptly swerved, ran a curb, and then plowed into the tree. An officer was able to describe the woman who fled the scene as a Caucasian woman in her 20’s wearing almost all black and one pink sandal. The other pink sandal was found in the driver’s side of the vehicle. Witnesses do not think that the driver was injured because they saw her walk away from the scene talking on her cell phone.

There were no passengers in the car at the time of the accident either. The woman responsible for the accident still has yet to be found.
