Oswego County News
Members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident that occurred on County Route 57 at the intersection of County Route 46 in the Town of Schroeppel.
Investigation into the matter revealed Jeniffer M. Reynolds, 24, of 42 Country Lane, Fulton, NY, was operating a 1999 Ford Taurus east on County Route 46 when she reportedly failed to stop for the stop sign and entered County Route 57 colliding with a southbound 1997 Ford U-Haul truck operated by James Brown, 2nd, 18, of 412 County Route 10, Lot C-3, Pennellville, NY.
Ms. Reynolds and her son, Robert P. Reynolds, age one, were both transported by ambulance to State University Hospital in Syracuse. Mr. Brown, the sole occupant of his vehicle, was transported by ambulance to A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Failure to stop for a stop sign appears to have been a contributing factor. Members of the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene. The matter remains under investigation at this time.
